man, with a workload and schedule like this, who needs holidays? =)

wow. reflecting on the one week that has passed, it's hard to think that i'm actually in the holiday season. just imagine, immediately after exams comes an exco retreat, preparation for christmas party, visiting the archbishop, more prep before the party proper, basketball practice before setting up the party, the party itself, and then a day in town for an eye checkup and to meet up with the council gang. gee whiz, i've hardly been home much!

i can't say how relieved i was to see the christmas party go so well. so much hard work, so many days spent away from home for it... i'm glad for ppl like sarah and peter that their worries have past, and that we all enjoyed ourselves as much as the rest of the csa community. i dunno what i did to earn myself the humiliation of having being called up for one of the best dressed as well as to be dressed up as old father christmas(i suspect God's handiwork and twisted sense of humour there... guess that what i get when i complain i'm feeling old and for leaving the 15th to do that song...), but i really enjoyed myself. it couldn't have been a longer day for me, but in the end, all the toil, sleepless nights and running around paid of. the buzz of the evening which kept me awake till 5 even though i should've dropped dead by then should tell you guys how glad i was it all went so well. even with me complaining of all my problems i took away from bball practice =)

but definitely, without a question, that this is the way life should be. i would have it no other way. there's no greater sastisfaction than slogging so hard for an event and then see it pass through without a hitch. i wanna say a heckuva big thank you to my beloved 15th: i can't wait for you guys to come back(though i guess the feeling won't reciprocate haha =) and start working on next sem! it's been a real joy and privilege to have you guys around, and i feel truly blessed by God to have this great honour to serve with you all. the challenges ahead that lead up to our handing over will test us, but i'm sure we will grow from strength to strength and surpass them together and end our term on a high. thank you for being the wonderful and lovely people that you are.

o and for the rest of us who are still here, we still got stuff to look forward to and carry out. we will prevail. *grin* and i can't wait for the joint uni mass and retreat!

and to my also beloved 27th, it was great seeing your faces again. we've all been busy with our own individual commitments, but i'm glad that we were all able to gather and enjoy a great night out. i've missed you guys so much, and i hope we'll get together again during this holiday period like we did. 'tis a pity the black one's going back to indo, but i guess that's cause to celebrate eh? *grin*... you know we still love you dod... you guys have been my family outside of school and home all these years... and i wanna say a big big thank you as well.

and lastly, but definitely not least, i'd like to thank the upstairs management as well, for He has been my help and my guide, as well as the one responsible for gifting me with a loving family at home and a really wonderful bunch of friends whom i can call family as well. with God, anything is possible.

take care everyone, and may God bless and keep you in all that you do in the coming week ahead. =)
