well... i didn't really expect that...

drivers, have you ever been ranted at by an angry, incoherent indian guy who stops you at the traffic light in the rain along still road because you almost hit his van while you were driving... i dunno... straight?

if you ever suffer from such a phenomenon, like lau did while we were on the way to parkway, i have the following recommendations.

1) ignore the raving bas*ard and let him cool down in the rain. see how long it takes before he decides that he's had enough.

2) use leonard's patented three response reply for appearing interested in a conversation. "oh?... yah... izzit?" with a "...then?..." thrown in every 5 minutes. tone is everything. rinse and repeat. like 1, see how long he can tahan in the rain.

3) something along the line of 2. play along. keep nodding your head and saying "ok" and "yup" and just stall for time. wait for the rain to get heavier and heavier or for the guy behind the van to get fed up and start horning. better still, wait for the traffic cops to come and tell them that this gentleman over here has been politely telling you about the dangers of driving straight on a straight road and how careful you should be.

4) take a look at him, then just look back at the traffic light. when it turns green, just put the pedal to the metal and leave him to eat your exhaust.
