the stuff of tabloids
flipping through the numerous pages of the sun looking for news articles wasn't really fun for my project, but it did let me catch a glimpse of the nature of the infamous british tabloids. and quite honestly, it makes the new paper resemble a proper paper.
i did chance upon this story, however, and i think it's worth a look at.
for all their technological brilliance, i guess the japanese don't really get out that much.
i brought it up over dinner last night, and my brother-in-law mentioned that the japanese kids draw chickens... with FOUR legs.
i won't be surprised if our kids start thinking lambs as some kind of adorable little pooch as well soon with our kind of narrow education system. and considering some idiot on who wants to be a millionaire last time couldn't tell that an anaconda wasn't a mammal.
i pray that day doesn't come to pass.
