hello big, big world...

little miss jillian marie loh, as pictured above, came into this world on the 11th of july in the year 2006. don't let the smile and cute face fool you: she's a trained terrorist and knows how to bring a household to its knees with two extremely powerful lungs.

i've not had time to post my initial feelings since i was busy with work back when this little lass was born. but make no mistake, i definitely love this little girl to bits. it's such a joy when a new member of family is born. sure, there's a lot of work to be done, but just seeing her smile and hearing her laugh and babble just makes it all worthwhile. i never cease to be amazed at her ability to play with her eyebrows, whether when she raises them out of amusement or when she knits them when she starts to complain (which in turn precedes a triggering of those powerful lungs i mentioned).

life. what a precious and joyful mystery it is when it begins anew.
